My Favorite Cold Weather Sweater

Sweater: Zara
Pants: Zara
Shoes: Gap
Watch: Michael Kors
Necklace: Garage

Now that it’s cold and probably staying like this for awhile, I decided it was time to highlight one of my favorite cold weather pieces in my closet. If you’re on the hunt for a sweater that’s warm, comfortable, and visually appealing to the eye, you have met your match. I’ll take you on a four paragraph read detailing every magical thing about this sweater.

Let’s start off with the collar. Turtlenecks are usually itchy and uncomfortable, but this one fits more loose and has breathing room. It’s perfect for those days where it’s windy and cold out and you need a little extra warmth. It also makes for a nice impromptu scarf to keep your face from getting frost bite.

The pockets are another favorite feature of mine. There are a lot of times when I forget my gloves, and these are real pockets that actually can help keep your hands warm. I’m not talking about those fake pockets that are sewn shut that you find on almost all clothing nowadays. The zippers on the side can be zipped down or up, depending on what kind of look you’re going for. They’re not as practical as the turtleneck, they’re actually not good for much, but they’re nice to look at. The cuffs on the end of the arms are perfect for keeping in heat and keeping out cold.

The material on this sweater is heavenly. I hate sweater shopping, the chances you find a sweater you like and isn’t the most uncomfortable thing in the world is rare. When I first saw this, I thought it looked itchy and almost didn’t even give it a chance. I tried it on and the material is like a hundred fuzzy socks sewn together. The material can actually keep you warm; it doesn’t have any large gaps in it. When you go outside and the wind blows, you’re not going to turn into a snowman.

So, basically this sweater is just really good for people like me who forget all their winter accessories. Now that I’m sure you’ve skipped through this whole thing (If you’ve even read it), to sum it up this sweater is great for the lazy people. I wish you all the best of luck in your hunt for your favorite cold weather sweater, and if you already have one, just humor me and read this.
